They used an Ecobee C2014-2021 smart thermostat w/voice control, version 4.7.5.250
only have 4-wire from stat to furnace
The variable speed does not work!! Contractor says it should. ( BS )
I need a good simple stat works with variable speed furnace. No WiFi,no voice, set back ok, easy adjustable temp, hold temp, touch screen or buttons.

Hello, I am having a major issue with finding a smart thermostat that will work with my communicating systems. One of the exsisting thermostats is starting to fail and i would like to swap them both out with smart thermostats. The outside unit is a RUUD Model # UPRL-036JEC, the inside unit is a Rheem model # RHPL-HM3621JC and my exsisting thermostat is a RUUD model # 1F99-1292. If there is any information you could give me that would help with this issue, it would be greatly appreciated.
