How to remove the Ring Doorbell faceplate
Every Ring doorbell comes with a cover. If you want to replace it with another color, you will need to take it off. Furthermore, battery-powered Ring doorbells are secured under the faceplate. So, if the batteries drain out, you will need to take off the faceplate to replace the batteries.
- Turn over your Ring doorbell. You will see the security screws at the bottom. Unscrew them.
- Place your finger on the surface, and gently push from the bottom.
- Using your thumb, keep the pressure until the plate comes off.
- Once it is loose, place your hand on top of the faceplate and gently pull it off.
- Now change the batteries, or if you want to insert a new faceplate, take it in your hands.
- Line up the faceplate with the body of the Ring doorbell.
- Press it downwards until you hear a click.
- Now take the security screws and tighten them.
- Go slow, and tighten each screw all the way.
- Congratulations, the faceplate is changed.

- From the left side of the screen, look for the option “Devices.”
- Once you find it, tap on it.
- Select the device that is disconnected and needs to be reconnected to the Wi-Fi network.
- Select “Device Health” on the bottom of the screen.
- From there, select “Reconnect to Wi-Fi” or hit “Change Wi-Fi Network” and follow the instructions

How to move your Ring doorbell to another location?
