In our ongoing studies about intelligent thermostats, I have compiled a comprehensive manual to assist individuals who are experiencing problems with older versions of Ritetemp thermostats.
While a popular brand a number of years ago, Ritetemp is no longer in existence so if you have one of their thermostats you will likely need to upgrade at some point in the future.

Replacement Ritetemp Thermostat Devices Available
While I do recommend upgrading your HVAC controls to smart controls from the likes of Nest or Ecobee, if you're heart is set on replacing an existing Ritetemp stat with another, then below are some devices still available on Amazon.

As you can see above, Ritetemp produced a wide range of thermostats for the US market. These included …
Programmable Thermostats
A number of models have the ability to set 5-2 day schedules or 7-day schedules. (For example: 8022C & 8050C) In the 5-2 configuration, it means you can configure weekday and weekend settings, while for 7 days you can set each day as you require.
Touchscreen Thermostat
Ritetemp produced a handful of touchscreen thermostats, which were an upgrade from the standard digital thermostats of the time. (8082C for example) There were few buttons on the faceplate but instead, you interacted with the interface directly.
Non-Programmable Thermostats
A range of non-programmable thermostats, allowed you to turn on or off the system, while also allowing you to increase or decrease the ambient temperature. (8029B for example)
Manual / Analog Thermostats
They also had a range of manual thermostat controls which simply allowed you to turn a dial to increase or reduce the temperature in a room. (6004 for example)
Line Voltage / High Voltage Thermostats
There were also models, (again, the 6004), which were also designed for electric heating systems, such as baseboard heaters, ceiling, in-floor, or space heaters.
